Senior Hairdresser - Full Time or Part Time

We are looking for a qualified hairdresser with at least 5 year’s experience to join us in our mission to bring better hair to the world.
TLDR:
- NO WEEKENDS! Monday – Friday role. Choose from Full-time or Part-time.
- Highly competitive pay rates: $35 – $40 per hour (permanent rate of pay) for a highly experienced & confident Senior Hairdresser
- Starter Bonus $1500 ($500 after 6 weeks of basic training and $1000 after completing 6 months – must meet performance criteria).
- In this role, you are not just changing hair, you are changing a person’s life and giving them back their confidence.
- In-depth paid on the job training will be given to all new hires to ensure you are 100% confident in your new role with us.
The Details:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Hairdresser to join our team. As well as doing regular salon services, you will also be learning all about hair replacement for men and women. So, once you are ready, 90% of your time will be performing hair replacement. No experience in this area is necessary, but knowledge of hair extensions is a distinct advantage.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- You are wanting to learn about hair replacement including wigs, extensions and hair systems.
- You’ll need to be fully confident in colouring & cutting (including colour correction).
- Knowledge of perming would be an advantage but not essential.
- Men’s barbering skills would be advantageous.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Hours: Choose from Full Time or Part Time hours.
- Monday – Friday only.
- Flexibility with working hours. You can start late to allow for school drop off. We are very family focused and your family is as important as ours.
- Flexible employment arrangement.
- Pay Rate: Highly competitive pay rates: $35 – $40 per hour (permanent rate of pay) for a highly experienced (previous expeience with hair systems or wigs) & confident Senior Hairdresser.
- Pay rates starting from $33+ for more newly Qualified Hairdressers.
- Sponsorship opportunites after 1 year
Location: Surry Hills NSW (salon is located only a 3 minutes walk from Central Station in trendy Surry Hills).
