However, not everyone in our world has the luxury of such a range of hairstyle choices! In North Korea, the government has released a collection of 28 recommended hairstyles for men and women. Female citizens have 18 hairstyles to choose from, whereas men are given ten options. Apparently, these styles are the “most comfortable’ of styles. Have a look at the collection:
Guidelines for hair go further than simply choosing a style. It is suggested that younger, single women have longer hair whereas married women make the snip, keeping their hair to styles of shoulder length or shorter.
Men have their own guidelines to contend with. Young men should have a trim at least every fifteen day to keep hair shorter than 5cm. Older men have a little more freedom, with a 7cm suggested length limit.
